Ali is a serial entrepreneur with more than thirty years of entrepreneurial and managerial experience. He has invested in, owned and managed multiple technology companies globally with operations in USA, Canada, Singapore, UK and Germany. He moved to Singapore in 1985 to manage Hewlett Packard’s IC Operation consisting of seven hundred employees but left shortly to setup his first technology business. Two of his investments were acquired by public companies. Currently, he manages a portfolio of financial investments in emerging markets and in Singapore.
Ali teaches entrepreneurship at both the National University of Singapore and INSEAD. He is also is an Entrepreneur-In-Residence at INSEAD. Driven by his strong belief in giving back, he has setup a multi-million dollar charitable foundation and continues to devote significant amount of time to improving education and health care in emerging markets.
Ali sits on the boards of several technology companies, financial institutions and charitable foundations. Ali holds a Masters degree in Engineering from Stanford University.

Rameez has over a decade of of start-up, management consulting and investment experience. He was a Associate Director with Temasek Holdings, he was involved with both transactions and CEO-level management engagements in a wide-range of industries. Prior to working at Temasek, Rameez was a management consultant with the Corporate Finance practice of The Boston Consulting Group. Through 2003/2004, he was a key member of the team at Ipsum Networks, a US$ 8.5M Rho Ventures and Sevin Rosen funded start-up that focused on IP layer network diagnostics.
Rameez is an aspiring mountaineer and recently climbed Kilimanjaro to raise SGD 335,000 for Make-A-Wish Foundation. In 2006, he helped raise over SGD 200,000 for a designated undergraduate bursary at the National University of Singapore.
Rameez sits on the boards of various technology and growth companies as well as Sukoon Investments. Rameez studied at the National University of Singapore and the University of Pennsylvania and has an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Professor Turner is the Affiliate Professor of Entrepreneurship at INSEAD. Professor Turner’s career includes seven years with ICI, UK and ten years with Levi Strauss Europe. He left Levi’s in order to launch his own jeans marketing company, after which he subsequently acquired and managed another small company, both in Spain.
A business angel investor himself, he is on the board of directors of a young start-up company in Singapore, and acts as advisor to a number of other young ventures, including one venture capital fund. He is a member of the Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE), launched by the Singapore government in 2003.
Aside from professional interests, his major passion is classical music, and in 1999 he published a book on Elgar's 'Enigma' Variations, of which the second edition was published in 2007.
Professor Turner holds a BA from Oxford University, and an MBA from INSEAD.
